Set the lens in MF at Mfd, camera in burst mode, and move your rig in a flowing way, from front focus to back focus of the insect while keeping the shutter pressed. I rarely get as many as 10 useable shots In a row. Typically just 2-4. But it helps anyway since the dof is ultra-shallow at this magnification, regardless of the aperture used.
