Larry Larry Larry, you did the shot just fine my friend and thank you for doing so. I really struggled looking at the eye but just couldn't see the right way to making it better so I left it alone. I'll have to look at what happened just above the beak??
I have one 'nit' for you..............why didn't you also fix the gravel spot
Thanks for talented edit, looks good to me though you may have gone a few steps more with sharpening which looks borderline to me, did you also add a bit more color on the red and orange on the head, strangely the color was a bit flat on the original and I brought it up a bit in post.
Nice one my friend....

Howdy Karl,
All I did was to fix the eye a bit, got rid of the fuzz above the beak, and removed what noise that was left behind from the noise removal app around the head and neck, no sharpening was done. No color enhancement was performed.
As for the gravel, I didn't see it or look at it.
Your photo of this Sandy is a knock out and I would hang it in the "Man Cave".
I love this photo. There is something very peaceful about it--the softness of the colors and the expression on the bird's face. But then again, the photographer certainly knows what he's doing. :-)
Karl, that's a nice shot and it's looking like you are doing better with the Beamer than I have to date. I have to work with mine more! Oh, and indeed the migration was great and the monkey is a most amiable host

MC Lovely capture, Karl. First glance the eye looked a little funky, then I read you performed Lasik
with your Beemer and you wonder why only one or two show themselves at a time Love ya, man.
Sandy's and Monkey, Greenies and RIP Dave, just certain things that hang with one after being here on the forum a while
Thanks MC Monkey, you should have seen them all.......................................All two of them

I would love to see SHC , very nice shot. Wonderful colors and background. I like what Larry did also.
Birdie
You just stick to the beach for now Honestly they are a treat to see but a thrill to hear Birdie, you will forever remember their cluck-klak when you hear them.
Thanks on the shot and yes Larry did goooood!
Karl
Karl, I love the graded/layered colouring of the background, the bird posture as well as the framing.
You show here very well that there is more to bird photography than the bird itself in it.
I am also very happy for you because that 500 seems to agree with you quite nicely.

A pleasing image, Karl. I just would try to do something with the eye for the rest a lot of good techs with the angle, isolation and color rendition Welldone!
Socrate
hello my friend. I was not quite sure how to go about the eye and my eyes are a little off right now so I let Larry make me look good
Your other comments are much appreciated, thank you.

Cool shot Karl, even better with the eye fixed and you might consider fixing the gravel too.
Unfortunately no Sandies around here, I have to make do with the crows

I was thinking of all gravel and no grass?? Man a guy can't catch a break around here anymore
Thanks for the visit and thoughts, I need a good Crow or Raven shot!
