The weather has been too warm here at Bosque del Apache - 65 degrees
hoping for some cold weather and some moisture here in New Mexico

This hawk gave an unexpected close fly by

The road runner was hunting along the ditch bank in the north fields.

EXIF data has GEO tagging enabled

I am enjoying the 5D mark III. It works well with the 400mm F5.6

the smaller 400mm allowed me to capture the images as I could quickly track the close hawk
photographers with the larger 500/600's could not get pointed at the hawk quickly enough or not at all

It would of course be nice to have a 500mm lens for many longer shots.

Paul - Super shots as always. How does one read the Geo-EXIF ? How did you get it in ? Eye-Fi ?

The Harriers look a bit soft to me Paul but the light on them is gorgeous. The RR is a nice crisp shot, well done
