I wonder how close to the 57/1.2 this is, Sony must have the design specs somewhere, release with Nex-9?

very different in look and flange distance. from all the pictures i've seen from the konica, i much prefer the rokkor. this lens predates konica's acquisition of minolta i believe so they shouldn't really share any genealogy. did sony buy all the konica stuff too or just the minolta?

Seen some pix from this, pretty nice. Only downside is that this is rare lens and price is usually bit orbital.

You know what was weird, when I was in Europe recently, there are still Konica Minolta ads up everywhere. I guess they only pulled out of the US market.

We have some here. Actually theres still some printing company that uses their gear. Big logo above door. But then, we still have Kodak Express shop/developing lab.. so nothing suprising.

Two have sold in the last month on Ebay for $8K. Would rather have a Noctilux for that kind of money...

There is also a Hexanon 50/1.2 in m-mount. Goes for a bit less $ IIRC (see ebay listing 110983431296)

Looks like 800 were made in the newer version.

A good deal on a 50/1.2 seems to be around $2200ish. With only 2001 made, that will probably double in no time.
Makes the Canon 50/1.2 RF look like a pretty good deal
