This weekend we did get the first nice frost of this winter. We almost got snow as well.
Well, we get snow almost every month. Almost november, almost decembers, almost ....

it cooled down to the high 40s (F) today in my part of western Oregon .
For years I had the dream of downhill skiing in Holland. You know- BELOW sea level. I would surely have made the Guinness Book of Records if I had done it- but I never learned how to ski .

40F is a fine temperature to walk through nature with a camera in my hand and forget about the cold.
Then, usually after one hour I start to realize that my fingers start to fall off.
Hey, these days we have indoor hills to practice your skiing skills. Although you might be too late for the book of records.
