I really like the first, but feel it needs the "whites" pulled up a bit.

Agree with Douglas. Too much blue in #1 for my taste.

The blue is from a mild cyanotype treatment, the neutral version had the stronger whites.

I'm glad you have snow, Dean, so I can look at that chilly (and good) first image, shivver, and look out my window at the gentle, warm Oregon rain.
I also like the second image.
I agree with comments about whites- but it's obviously intentional on your part- so no matter about my crit
