I wouldn't buy another Induro.
I have the Induro in question and had the center column seperate from the flange in use. Good thing I had held onto the camera! Tripod was 1yr + old.
A small screw that secures the two pieces together came out. They didn't want to warrantee it. After going back and forth I just ordered a new column. Things can happen, but I never had an issue with ANY of my Manfrotto tripods that are 2 decades old. Very poor customer service. I've no other problems since then and it is now 3yrs.

Couldn't the same thing happen to a gitzo or any other tripod for that matter?

Yes, but I can vouch that Gitzo has an amazing customer service... They treat customers right, at least they did for me...
I broke the center column by overtightening. I rang them up and explained my mistake. The tripod was still in warranty, and even though I broke the central post, they sent me a new one free of charge.

I'll stick to Gitzo for sure
I have read other people in photo forums having problems with gitzo customer support and other people having terrific service from induro customer service. So it cuts both ways.

Yes sure, for some reason they were super receptive to my problem and they did me right. That made me a customer for life.
If anything, the only "other" legs that do call my attention are the RRS ones. But in general those are no cheaper than Gitzo...
and regarding the above broken gitzo pic, as Forrest Gump said, "s%&t happens"
