I am trying to use some Epson Water color paper in my Epson 4880 printer. I have the photo black loaded so I am trying to use the WCRW_PK.icc file -- which I see on my disk, but when I try to set that profile in either LR or PS it only shows me the same file with the _MK extension (matte black)
File exists on disk (verified in explorer) but does not seem accessible in LR or PS -- is this a familiar issue ?
Are you sure your icc profile is for Photo Black ink? Although you can generate a custom icc profile using photo black ink, most canned manufacturer profiles for fine art matte papers use matte black ink. When you designate the paper type, the printer will default to the correct ink type.
