p.1 #1 · Dutch landscapes!

Hi,

I'd like to share a few shots of some real dutch 'flatland' landscapes:

1. Local rainstorm chasing away the geese..

2. Clearing skies...

3. Evening light descends on old steampowered waterpump building, keeping the land dry...

It's fun to be living in such wide spaces but with all the waterfall shots on this site I sometimes long for a change of scenery.

As always C&C requested. Thanks !

Regards,

I like # 2, the water leads me from one side of the frame to the other. In # 1 the geese make this photo giving you a subject against some wonderful clouds and light. # 3 doesnt do it for me, my eye wanders the frame looking for something of interest. Thanks for sharing

#1 is really nice! I like how the formation of geese is pointing the same direction as the cloud.

Nice composition in #2.

I like the light and colors in #3. The building is obscured by the glare from the sun directly behind. Maybe a shot closer to the building would have added the point of interest that Charlie noted was missing.

Being closer to the building would have been better i suppose. Too bad i was running out of time for photographing. For this shot i happened to look at my rearview mirror when driving away and see the beautiful sky and sun illuminating the landscape so i parked, ran up onto the dike and fired a couple of shots. This was the best of them.... Too bad i didn't have more time. Oh well, there's always a next time. The land isn't going anywhere soon.....

Thanks for the comments !

I like the idea of having a frame around the image with information about the image.

Thanks for sharing.
