The team that won the Central Mass District last week (https://www.fredmiranda.com/forum/topic/1165248) advanced to the State Final...wearing blue/gold this time.

Went up against a traditional powerhouse and were shut out 3-0. 12 noon EST start, but lower winter sun helped; still stood for the turf.

Thanks Grant, it's an interesting sport, lots of play stoppage and subjective whistles...still haven't figured it out after shooting for more than 6 years...

Very nice shots and I agree it is an interesting sport. After covering Field Hockey for a few years it seems the whistles sometimes help the team being penalized by slowing a fast break.

Chris - great shots as always. Super colors and very sharp.

Good to see that the sun didn't create turf vapor.

The goggles look tougher than helmets since they are so compressed.

Thanks Bob, yes one girl was wearing a single bar, usually seen in LAX...thought maybe she'd get docked by the ref but didn't happen.
