You know I rarely comment but image after image is so consistently relevant and graphically beautiful. Many shoot entire sessions hoping to come away with just a few photographs so well done.
chuck, very kind words my friend! i'm bummed i didnt get a chance to meet you when I was in new orleans. tell all of your friends who are about to be wed they should hire me and i'll make the trip again!
most of the images are not showing for me and saying copyrighted by owner. Not sure why.
Your work is always great and inspiring. Thanks for posting!
In image 6b, there is a distracting ring on the guy face, behind the grooms right shoulder that draws my attention away from the subject.
This thread was brought back from the dead! Thanks all for the words!
Pette: I used the 85L for number 19 (I think).
Charlandk: Thanks for the compliment! Try refreshing your browser to see all the images...they should all be there. And thanks for pointing that out in 6b.
Cbradio: You are too kind! I am still teaching photography to high school seniors (www.pbase.com/pachs). Check out some of their work! They are having a good year thus far!
Lots of great images here but I dig #29. Did you just get lucky there (i.e.server walked in front of you and got in your shot on accident) or was that planned? Either way, it's a cool shot with perfect timing.
kwhaley: that shot was planned. I think I took maybe 6 variations...all with slow shutter speeds. That shot without the human element is boring...so I just waited for him load up his arms with plates and pressed the shutter as he went by!
