Personal preference I guess. I am not a fan of Nikon colours, per se, but they tend to be more accurate than Canon colours, on those colour accuracy charts that dpreview have. The D800 in particular is surprisingly accurate.
I was about to put this lens in my cart...but I really want to see how it compares to the Voigtlander 17.5. I haven't heard much at all about that lens. The Olympus 17 sadly seems to be a mediocre lens, was hoping for some more of the 60 macro/75 f/1.8 magic
It was one of the few things I've reviewed that I was very, very sad to send back. I don't even particularly like the 35mm focal range, but I absolutely loved shooting with that Voigtlander. I was very impressed with the image quality out of it as well. Very sharp, even wide open, and beautifully built. It is very large and heavy for a m4/3 lens, though.

Yep Jordan, saw yours, which piqued my interest to begin with. I haven't seen one other decently done review of the lens. I think a 35mm equiv is one length where I don't mind sacrificing AF/size for optics and an extremely narrow .95 DOF
