Thanks Monkey, very helpful!
To answer your question, a lot. my compositions very often focus on something in the close foreground on one side of the frame, and even more so when shooting wide.
But it doesn't matter, as stated above, the behavior is the same at 6 and 10 feet.
Coming from someone who owns this lens and a full frame camera, and who could have easily helped by reporting your results with your outer points, your answer is a bit frustrating.

You responded with more civility than I would have, haha.
Finished another 2 photo shoots where I shot with only the Sigma 35 and I loved the results, so did the customer. I added more sample shots from recent shoots and couple sharpness test shots with links to the full size JPEGs for anyone interested. Im not trying to promote my page, just trying to help you guys out that are considering dropping close to a G on this lens. http://mylightshop.com/articles/2013/1/2/lens-review-sigma-35mm-f14-dg-hsm-nikon-mount

Thanks. I enjoyed reading your review on the lens.
Big thanks to all the other contributors to this thread as well. Lots of good info and some great pics.

Seeing as I've helped more people here, than you have posts...feel free to KMA. I really don't care what YOU think.

Ya, your such a helpful guy. How do you help people that have problems? Ohh ya, that's right. You tell them there is no problem! . What a joke. Once again, using your post count to pretend your above everyone else. If people can't see the true you because of your post count, then I feel sorry for them.
