it was working fine . then about a week ago cannot take a regular pics . should send it out or what

Last year I had an SB800 that all of a sudden would only fire at max power. Sent it in to Nikon & they fixed. I think it was about $100 to fix.

You're saying the photos you take with the SB-800 are overexposed? If that's what you're saying, check your exposure comoensation on your camera.
