Different approach here - using history brush, USM, and Gaussian blur snapshots and Georege DeWolfe's fine art technique for selective sharpen and blur.

Bob, I don't think folks are tiring of the images but believe there is not much to improve on

No apologies!
My only suggestion would be to consider softening your daughters features a bit. Seems sharper than necessary and somewhat inconsistent with the mood and other processing style.

Yes, that particular technique allows more targeted tweaks (at least in my case). I recall specifically hitting along the edge or her nose 'just one more time' for added definition - perhaps going over the edge in the process

I must check how it looks in a larger version.

Bob; I intentionally attempt to stay out of "Family work" as I find it one of the fastest ways to start a war... I personally treasure your image as a point in time that can be revisited in your retirement years... Jim
