I usually shoot a brenizer with RAW, convert to low res jpeg, then stitch. I know a lot of people do Brenizer with low res jpeg straight from the camera.
anyway... usually with my 5D2 I just leave the file resolution to whatever it is (unless it is a large stitch). What do you guys do with D800? Do you resize the files smaller?

Why not? In the old days when we developed our own film and printed our negs with the ye old Besslers and Durst's - we cropped all the time. It was a way of life. Why are things so different now?
