Our school made it to state (5th year in a row) and I was able to get away and get some pictures. I typically go to a few games each year but I have been very busy with my real job so no luck. I am a bit rusty shooting soccer but I had a great time. Championship game is on Thursday.
some really great shots as usual from your posts! My favs are 2, 3, 4, 6. Always enjoy seeing your posts. Colors really pop and some great backgrounds. 1st seems just a tad soft on the player on top performing the header. Maybe even crop a tad tighter on the right side to eliminate the player on bottom left (leg). But again just something i noticed.
4 is a killer shot... Man Hope they would print that big!

#1 is a bit soft and i am bias. i know the girl who made the header. she is a friend.
Very cool that they get to play in the dome. I spent about 2 years working in MSP, and always enjoy your photos from teams there.
and on your re-do of the header, is it possible to crop to a portrait orientation with the ball on the left hand edge? I don't know if #32 adds to the shot.

Grant, was a noise reduction process used on these? Detail in the faces seem a bit soft. Regardless, some good capture here. #2 & 8 are my picks for the best in the lot.
LOVE these pictures. I can't seem to get the same pop with my 1DMKII and 400 2.8. I must be doing something wrong. I am only going to post 1 picture because don't want to hijack your thread. Hope you can give me pointers. All I did was rezise to 5x7 and shrunk to post on FM
