p.1 #1 · ND and graduated ND filter for Contax CY's?

I've been wanting to do some landscaping and moving water imagery for some time, but never came to it. I have a range of Contax CY's and the hood system ends up in a 86mm thread with a flat end.

Is there such thing as a generic ND/grad ND filter mount I could fit on this?

I also have the ZE 21/2.8 - what ND/grad filters would you recommend for that?

As for cost, I am certainly no pro and it doesnt matter if it's a little bit fiddly just as long as it capable of producing nice results. I am not looking for pro stuff.

Thanks!

you could use the contax gelatin filter holder. this sits in-between the lens and hood replacing the usual contax step-up ring. the filter holder is 67mm and you can get a 55/67mm ring for the smaller diameter lenses.

you can read about it at the excellent mir website:

You can get cheaper filters elsewhere that fit the system. Or for maximum cheapness you can buy a filter and hold it in position when needed.

Thanks both! Getting the Contax version would be great but perhaps hard o find. Leefilters looks awesome, but perhaps a bit to pro-type (and expensive) for me.

I was hoping for a somewhat cheaper generic solution. I think I would like to stack filters in it to combine various ND + perhaps a graduated filter too. If such thing exists (?).
