Shoot, I shouldn't have sent the money as a gift. Oh well, live and learn. On the bright side, I just phoned paypal and lodged a complaint against his account, and the agent said if they see more complaints coming in, his account will be reprimanded. So, if any one else who had dealings with him on paypal wants to complain, that would be much appreciated.

I'm one of the people who PM'ed Fred about this.

It felt like a scam, but he provided photos for the D3 I was looking for. I gave him 1 day to ship my item out, he didn't do it, I reported him to paypal and got my money back..

I wish I could IP trace him. I'd use some of my money to buy a plane ticket and visit him.

It did feel like a scam, and he also provided pictures of the O-MD but he stole them from eBay.

Hopefully you get your money back or hopefully you do get the lens.
