I don't post our family work here very often... in fact, this might be the first time. I really liked this session, though, so I thought I'd share.
For those that don't frequent the wedding forum, because I storyboard the images, the display small. If you click on the storyboard, it should display full size. I wish Fred would change the setting back, but oh well.
Nice set but the facial focus in every one except the 2nd to the last if really soft bordering on OOF. I presume it is a faulty upload and hope the original work out much better for you and your clients.

I love all of these. Did you just let them run around in a few of these shots?
Thanks... Yes, for the most part we just let kids run around. We really enjoy capturing kids being kids. Obviously there are some posed ones in this series, but most of the time we run pretty loose.

Dave
hmmmm.. interesting. They look fine on my computers and even my phone... perhaps your monitor needs checkin'.
Anyone else seeing this?

Great captures, well done! I love the energy in the last few.
Thanks... yea, toward the end of the session, they were really starting to relax and just be silly with us... which we like. It's always a good sign when the kids ask us if we're going to come to have dinner with them afterward.
Well done Rich. Clean, well executed photography. Not seeing the soft faces other than on the one of the boy running and maybe the boy when he's in back and they're sitting together. I always like your color processing.

I would crop a lot tighter in #1, I find the background to be very distracting.
that's a thought... thanks.

Very nice set. Good job capturing their true essence. Photos look fine btw.
I've always loved your wedding work. I haven't been over there in a long time, so it's really nice to see you over here. Wonderful set, the fun you all had really comes through. The one arm hand stand is pretty awesome.

you definitely infused your wedding coverage style into this set. Very nice. You should post here more often!
Robin... actually I'd say that we infuse our children's portrait work into our wedding coverage. We actually started doing children's portrait work first before we ever got into weddings.
