Haha! David, that didn't even occur to me. I know people who use only the saturation slider, though, and then mess with curves and stuff, and that just doesn't work for me. Thanks for the time-saving tip!
Chris, vow renewal!
Robin ... thank you! I spent it shooting a wedding here in Tulsa.
You're welcome However I think that sliding the saturation to -100 is the same as the B&W button but the color slider mix is different. Meaning, just reducing the saturation slider and then using the colour sliders will do the same.
I always love your posts. As the others have mentioned, very strong black and white conversions.
I'm on an iPad, so it's hard to critique individual photos (which is something i like to do when I really like a set, even though I'm no expert). But there are a few in the beginning where I'd have liked to see more dof, and another few that were tilted (I have this crazy pet peeve for tilted photos, though I know many others don't care).
Thanks, zalmy! You know, I usually make sure everything is straight and non-tilted, but this time I kind of let it go, just to see how it felt. Ha. I might take your advice and un-tilt before delivering. Thanks for saying something about that. And yeah ... I agree that there are a couple that would have benefitted from more dof.
Thanks for your comments about the b + w, too.
