I am looking for diffusion gels for a homemade kino(4 foot, 2 light) as well as a 24"x24" softbox.
I got 3 24" sheets of tough frost and just wondering how it differs from tough spun, opal tough
frost, tough silk, tough white diffusion etc. I searched for a document describing the diffusion gels but the link to a rosco pdf was not on their site anymore.
Which is best for portraits of people who necessarily don't have make up artists as well as not the best skin.
Your tube bank is more forgiving than a point source, anyhow the most dense material results in the softest skin, so it's opal tough -frost and -diffusion. If available in Antigua I'd sugest to get a roll of Translum (by Savage). Replaces acrylic panels and it's not expensive. ($ 39 at B&H)
