To be clear: the Nikon teleconverters appear to have special mounts which are slightly different than the usual mounts. I can put my 70-200/2.8 VRII on the teleconverter, but not my Nikkor 60 Micro AF-S, for example. It doesn't appear that Zeiss has chosen to enable mounting the 100MP on the TC.

Some different distances (MFD, 5m, infinity), a wall test, CA test. Something like that? Other tests you would like to be done?
If it's not too much trouble I'd be interested to see how it does at distant landscape or cityscape in terms of resolving detail. Then something near mfd that gave an idea of both bookeh and IQ would be good. Many thanks, Lizzie
The distance shots were focussed at the white flowers in the back.
Some observations I made: wide-open degrades my MP100 lower than kitlens level. At f/5.6 (lens aperture, actually f/8) the level of detail is certainly decent. Metering seems to be off with the TC on the Zeiss.
In the weekend I will be in Austria and I will probably have some time to do some more tests.

Thanks very much for this. It certainly seems to give good detail once stopped down a bit, and the metering is not a problem as that can be taken care of. Degradation wide open seems more to the edges - the centre seemed much better which I guess is unsurprising.
If, while you are in Austria, you had a chance to take a distant landscape at a mid range aperture with adjusted metering, I'd be really interested to see that - but I appreciate you may well have better things to do with your time! ;-)
Thanks very much for this - the one at 5.6 seems to have come up pretty well, given they are not matched lenses as such. Gives me a good idea anyway! Now I just need to find a good price on a 2nd hand lens! ;-)
