p.1 #1 · Home Studio Old Elinchrom 400BX kit or D-lite 4 it Kit

Hi all, trying to get some feedback on what kit I should get. I'm looking to get into studio photography and this will be a learning set but would like it to be the set to have as a keeper so I don't have to upgrade.

Elinchrom 400BX kit with stands and umbrellas (I think these came out a few years ago). Let's say I can get for $750-$800 used

Elinchrom D-Lite 4 it Kit with stands and softboxes (used, $600)

Considering the price difference that I can get them will be about $100 difference, which set should I get? I know the dlites have the remote triggering, but I have a set of Aputures.

If they are the new D-Lite's with built-in wireless I would get those. I think they have 1 less stop of adjustability but the wireless feature will more than make up for that. Both are very good lights and as you progress with the Elinchrom system you can use them for background lights, etc.
