Yes, on a very low percent of your photos if you look closely under a loop you will find a slight difference. You may be the only person in the world but its there. It would be way down on a list of print problems and not something to worry about. But if you are anal and have to have everything perfect go for it. Most print drivers don't support 16 bit anyway. I use the ipf5000 photoshop plugin and send 16 bits to my printer but don't think its that important.
