I've already spent quite a bit on a vacation already, so still debating on this one. Although I will say, just to meet up with some of you again, and meet some new folks, is reason enough to go.
I'm going. The prices are the same .....but there are a lot business changes..... Platform classes are no longer 2 hours and now only 1.5 hours. They are pushing Master Classes harder as there are no Platform classes in the middle of the day anymore. Last year the gap of no Platform Classes was between 1pm to 4pm this year the gap widens to 10:30am to 4pm (Master Classes are the only classes offered during this break).
Jose Villa taught a platform class last year - this year his class got upgraded to a Master Class and I'm willing to bet his presentation is going to be the exact same one.
Lastly, the Plus classes used to be $375 for 2 full days (I took Cliff Maunter's Class 2 years ago). This year it's up to $700 and trimmed down to only 1 day!
Regardless, I'm going to have a great time but these changes did not go unnoticed.

So seriously, who all is going? I was just looking at prices, everything pretty much seems the same as last year. I may try to make this work again!

That's definitely a dramatic price difference.
I decided I better at least look and see what it's running right now since I have an inquiry for 3/10 that wants to do a day-after session on 3/11. RT from here to Vegas... over $600. WTH?

Wow...that sucks. I looked the other day and it was about $350 RT from Atlanta...which after parking, gas, and bag fees takes it to about $450 RT (plus the 2 extra hours to drive each way). Southwest out of Nashville on the other hand was a lot higher this year, about double what I paid them for the same flights last year.
The rooms are still a good deal though, $60 a night right now at the NYNY with all taxes and resort fees included...that's really not bad.

Did you check on package deals through Southwest Vacations? I did a lot better with that than I would have booking Southwest airfare and a hotel separately.
