Hi to everybody
I have trouble reading my sandisk extreme 16gb 60mbs cards on Mac. Cards doesn't show up on screen when reader is connected. I had the same problem with macbook, all other cards both machines see. Once I restarted computer with card reader connected and they worked perfectly (once). Even yesterday I downloaded all sessions from the same 16gb cards. Today I tried everything with no results. If somebody had the same problem please help me. Maybe there is some app which reads every device connected to computer.
ps I can't format cards now because I need my pictures..
Which reader are you using ? I had intermittent troubles with a new Lexar usb 3.0 reader running in USB 3 mode (but ok in USB 2 mode) until Lexar released a firmware update. At the time it seemed that nobody else was having problems and I was blaming my cards or USB 3 adapter.
vsg28's advice will at least get your pictures off the card so that you can experiment and test without losing images - unless the card itself or the camera is faulty.
