Yes, nature supplied the framework for a natural grunge, all I did was slightly adjust tones.

... too abstract? NO, I don't think so - it's interesting - though I find the white in your frame maybe a bit distracting considering the delicate texture of your abstract. I hope you don't mind me using an autumn tinge in my version
