p.1 #1 · New Mac user......Email photo woes

I just got a new Mac Pro. I have been using Breezy Browser with my PC. A few clicks and I would email clients dozens of photos.......(if now more).......for them to look at and pick. They would go with the camera ID with them. ...or a name if I renamed the image.

Using Photo Mechanic, it only sends the photos.......all stuck together and no ID numbers....(no way to order the ones they pick). Tried sending attachments in mail and the same results. Same in iPhoto ..is this a Mac thing??

I don't use Photo Mechanic, but I doubt it's a "Mac thing." You might want to view:

You can:

1. Create a quick automated webpage in Photoshop and send the link to the client.

2. Create a folder of image files and attach to the email.

Use Light Room 4 and email the ones you want from there.

Use Picasa with Outlook and the pics are embedded in the body with file names.

click on the image and drag it into the mail program, it's that easy
Mail will open and let you address and title the email you are going to send
I hope you are downsizing the photos for the web and emails

Microsoft once had a program called Entourage. I don't know if it is still included in the latest Office suite for Mac.

I would consider a Cloud solution to this problem. Dropbox, Microsoft Skydrive, Google Drive -- they might all work for your purpose.

Sorry but Office for Mac (Home and Office version) contains Outlook and has for several years. Office should do what you need and Lightroom will as well. I think Mac Mail, the default OS X mail program, will do it as well.
