I have two D700's. Both have a clean bill of health from a recent clean and check by a Nikon authorized repair shop. With all things being equal between the two, one has great color the other has a green tint. The green tint is worse at higher shutter speeds and bright sunlight. I'm taking it back to the shop as soon as I can slow down a little.
In the mean time I'm wondering if anyone else has had this issue and what the resolution was.
Marty one of them doesn't have any fine adjustments made in the menu to wb does it? A friend had one with color cast issues and he had someone made an adjustment to blue I think it was, we reset it to the centerpoint and all was well.
Double and triple checked the settings. That's not the problem. I thought maybe someone else had seen this happen before and could tell what the resolution was. I will send it in for repairs as soon as my D3s arrives from KEH this week.
Dial in ''Magenta plus 1'', our 'friend' Rockwell just did this with his d600, which displayed a greenish tint. Look overthere for the 'secret' formula.
