My daughter shoots various events and borrowed my Panasonic HD SDR H18 camcorder to record a birthday party. The shoot went fine but when she went to download the file onto her computer, she hooked the USB cable up first and then the camera refused to power up. Now the camcorder won't power up using the battery or aux power cable. Minimum repair for the thing is over $200 which is more than the camera is worth. Is there any company out there that can pull the thing apart and pull the file off of the camera's built in hard drive?
