p.5 #1 · What do you expect from Sigma 35 F/1.4 artist?
As an ex-owner of the canon 35L and owner of the Zeiss 35/1.4 ZE I'll have to say this new Sigma looks technically great. However: I still seem to prefer the look of the zeiss. The bokeh looks smoother and the transition to out of focus seems to be less steep.
Still promising though. I look forward to seeing more photos from it.

If I was in the market for a 35, I'd certainly be looking long and hard at the Sigma.
But even not being in the market I have to say I'm really impressed with it. It seems a nice shot across the bows of the never ending 'new version double the price of the old version' releases we've been seeing. Bravo Sigma!
