I like that second one Chas. Nice perspective.

John - i looked at hardware calibrateable screens, but they are just way out of my budget range. The "solution" to my desktop pic problem seems to be exporting the images with the monitor profile selected as colour space rather than RGB. You'd think MS would have this colour management thing cracked by now.

Thanks John, but these are actually out of my kitchen window. Unfortunately I'm not able to go walking in the woods at the moment due to the 7mm of polapsed disc in my lower back...

...well then thank you kitchen window for such a beautiful view, and hope you get better soon. Try taking Green Lipped Mussel extract, has helped me enormously with every cartilage joint in my body, for years.

This obviously doesn't look much like autumn but today is November 25th and we've had snow for 2 weeks already! Anyway, the neighbours brought home a new puppy today and he's too cute not to share! All shot with the 1d3 and 100-400...

I have to give it up to bird shooters...it's tougher than it looks, but its fun!

I enjoy the challenge. Now I gotta find more places in the area to shoot.

Both with the 5D3 @ 600mm.

The breed is Alaskan Malamute and yeah, he's pretty adorable but he has frypan sized feet already so he'll be a big 'un!

Hi Geert,

Those are wonderful shots, that pijun is in perfect focus! Given the heavy crop it looks like the 400 is quite a sharp lens, color and contrast look great as well...perhaps next year I'll pick one up, thanks for posting

Yes the 400 is a sharp lens and the AF of the 5D3 did a good job. I have the 5D3 for two days now and I really like it so far.
