Today I went out with a fast lens hoping to get some fallish bokeh, however, not much opportunity that way.
Managed to snag some stunt pijuns in action, although I didn't quite have the "reach" for it.

1DsMkII + 70-200 f/2.8 IS MkII.

Paticularly admire the wonderful colours in the first two images, really jump out of the monitor, beautiful iridescent tones!

Thank you, David....that is one of our nicests birds.
Quite often I desaturate and lower brigtness/contrast on their heads in order to avoid the photoshopped Amazonian parrot look.

Here one can see the drake's head in more detail ( 1DX + 800L)
