What would be a fair price for a used one of these? It is the first version of the lens, not the newer ZF2. It is in EX condition if you looked at the KEH scale.
Debating on picking it up at $500 plus tax. I'm hesitant as I would really like the focus confirm of the newer version, but it was a very nice lens. Thanks for the replies.
Nikon SLRs support focus confirmation (officially called Electronic Rangefinder, if you're looking for it in the user manual) even with non-CPU lenses, like the original Zeiss ZF lenses. You'll not get shutter-speed-priority autoexposure and some other features, but focus confirmation will work fine.
