I'm switching over to a BigFolio website and the color of the images loaded into the gallery don't match the original image. It's especially bad on skin tones - makes them have a red tint. From what I've been finding in search around, it's because internet browsers don't have any type of color management. If this is the case, why am I seeing great colors on other websites... any suggestions to get past this?
If you're using a flash site that's likely the reason.. Flash displays a rendered version of the image, not the actual image itself, so whatever is happening, is happening because of this, not the browser itself. Generally when things like this are happening it's because the images are either being 'optimized'/compressed or duplicated at a lower quality to help with overall file size.. I'd talk to bigfolio's support to see if there's anything they can do on their end or if this is a frequent problem..
