5mk3. adorama via ebay has it for 2750 free shipping.

I don't think the price drop is the new going rate for the mk3. The mk2 is still in production and for sale for $2k. I suppose that's the whole reason Canon kept it around. To compete with the D600 that they likely knew was in the works.

I don't think this had anything to do with the D600. This was most likely planned long ago. I know I expected it.

I was lurking on ebay today and got some bodies before looking at this thread. GOOD STUFF!! Only one per customer lol. When i bought it was at 431 sold, 20 mins later 458 sold...that equals to:

$1,259,042 sold in less than a day...
