I have never seen one of these with this coloration. How did you get the body, head and legs in focus but the pincers out? Is that just motion?

I believe the coloration is a product of my post processing. Good or bad is yet to be seen. The DOF is pretty thin. Usually I would try to shoot between F8-F16 for something like this, even f22. I was shooting at F4 because I had no way to diffuse my sb600 on camera. I opted to bounce off the ceiling of the patio and went with 1/500 to try and kill some of the white wall behind the critter. Looking back on the situation I could have bumped my ISO up to 800 and shot at f11 or something but I'm still not sure if I would have gotten the pincers in focus.
The little guy was literally doing the splits for me!!!
Here is where I was and that wall was my background. The lil guy was on a stick that was sticking out of a beer bottle on the table.
