p.1 #1 · Mountains, rain, cold...but what a wedding!
I still am not finished with my culling but I thought I would take a break and post up a few.
I met the groom thanks to Evan Baines. Evan asked me to help him during a magazine shoot with the groom. The groom is an Army Ranger who also competes as a triathlete. During the shoot, we worked in a pouring rain storm and in the ocean, and so it was fitting that the skys opened up and rained during the wedding ceremony.
The wedding was held on a mountain top, just south of Asheville, NC. The day was picture perfect until a few hours before the ceremony. The sky's darkened, the temps dropped into the mid 50's and the rain came. I'm originally from Colorado so I should know that the weather can turn cold quickly. The wind and chill also prevented us from shooting some of the planned shots but I tried to make the best of it.
I did not bring a jacket but since I was working, I really didn't feel the cold. My poor wife, who accompanied me on this shoot and held my light for me, was quite cold. She only had a thin sweater to ward off the chill plus her feet got wet, making for a rather chilling experience for her. But such is life.
I'm not looking to "tell the story" for you, so, since I'm not done, so I"ll spare you guys and only post up a few random shots in no particular order. Enjoy!!

20 I give credit to my wife for this shot. She told me about the cool ladies bathroom, so we took advantage of it to create this shot. Two off camera lights were used.

Nice images, but what in the world is going on in image number 23?
Keg stand!
The guy is drinking from a keg, while his buddies hold him upside down. I've never done one but I guess it's a popular thing amongst the younger group.
