I am in awe of your prowess with a camera... I just spent 7 days trying to get one decent shot of a Hummer... I now know it is a challenge... Great job... Jim

A sunny day to be sure. Two bookend sunflowers to keep those amazing hummer shots together. I was up at 5:00 to...but that's 2am your time...bet you are glad I didn't call YOU!
Don't you get bored being so good?..Where's the challenge?
Eric
Yes I am glad you didn't call me at 2, try it once and see how glad you are that you didn't call me at 2
Me bored, no, more like a kid in a candy store. Just can't stop pushing Tom as he does me
Thank you Eric, you are awfully generous with your words!
Sooooo glad you like the yellow thingy So you like Pollen Head on the electric bg, me too!! You have to love those blue flowers, lets hope next year will have more! I guess that keeps the hacks from criticizing us for shooting red flowers all the time
4 5 Yeah, kept the ISO up for a faster shutter this time. 6 sometimes the just get in the right place!

There is a certain fascination that goes with a good hummer shot hovering at a flower, you have had many a great one Tim However it is #2 that really grabs me this time, perfectly perched, a delightful floral bokeh of a BG and a darn good look at this tiny treat
Though I do like the sheer vibrance and pattern of #1 SF, I do find the very last one to be the shot with the most finesse! A tad more contrast or a little less yellow saturation and it comes alive even more, I like its pose as if it were looking for some privacy
That's okay Karl, you can like the lazy bird resting amongst the psychedelia Thanks for tips on 7, I hardly touched that one, maybe a little fine tuning is in order
Maybe you should thank Tom
Thank you Karl, as always I appreciate the kind words and any push you have to offer!
