Close friends from college asked me to shoot their wedding. I’ve done this before and it’s always uncomfortable to wear both hats, so I said no. A few weeks later, the MOB emailed me, pleading for my help. I relented feeling pretty good about myself, and started thinking that there must not be any photographers in the area that produce good work. NOPE… apparently they asked six other photographers but nobody wanted to travel up to the top of a mountain.
To be fair, the road is one of the gnarliest I’ve ever been on. Seriously, though! Who wouldn’t want to shoot a mountain top wedding? Anyway, I hope I did it justice. See more on the blog.

I love your editing. We'll start there. With that said, the editing of 5 and 8 don't quite match the rest.
#4 and 15 are showing as locked.
I think my only real gripe is that he looks super concerned in #14. If he looked a little less nervous and stressful, this should would bring home the bacon for me.
#16 would do best as a B&W image, I think. And bring the exposure down a bit.

Colorado weddings are dope.
I like these for the most part... for me the editing kinda feels all over the place. Skin tones are this way and that way and the greens are kinda all over the hue and saturation spectrum.
Overall not bad looks like an amazing wedding.

Right on with this analysis… consistent white balance, tone, and exposure was a challenge all day. The getting ready portion started at 8am, the ceremony was held during mid-day sun, and the reception was in the evening. Plus, we did a few formals mid-day, then a few in the evening. This is probably the source of the variable skin tones, and wild greens (well, VSCO probably contributed to the wild greens as well). All things that I need to work on. Thanks again.
