What? Shooting any rangefinder qualifies as alt in my book. I'm pretty sure Michael was referring to the DSLR manufacturers in the FAQ.

I think we need a ruling from Brian on this.

I'm voting that Summilux on M9 is Alt. If it isn't then the Fujinon lens stuck to the front of my x10 disqualifies me too

From the FAQ:

What are "alt lenses"?

"Alt lenses" mean alternatives to the major Original Equipment Manufacturers' ("OEMs", e.g. Canon, Nikon, Sony Alpha) current lens lineups.

My interpretation is this:
Canon DSLR using Canon lenses is NOT alt.
Nikon DSLR using Nikon lenses is NOT alt.
Sony DSLR using Sony lenses is NOT alt.

Anything else IS alt.

So anything Leica in any combination is alt.

Ok, enough trouble making from me, now to enter.

Short note on PP: Only minimal 1-step sharpening. Colours etc as shot. jpeg from RAW using C1 Pro
