p.1 #1 · K and M - Trash The Dress session

After receiving some great advice in here, regarding post processing, I figured I better show the results of my attempts to improve my PP skills. This is a "trash the dress" session from last week, in a forest, a construction site, and a beach in Denmark:

So many different post processing styles. Don't you want to stick with a cohesive brand?

Is that fake tilt shift in some of these? Really looks funky, but maybe you like the funky?

Not a big fan of the tilt especially the sort of tilt that looks more lazy than deliberarte like in the last one.

Yeah I know about the different PP styles, but I cant make myself process an image the same style, if a different style suits it better.. You know what I mean? Its like "forcing" a style on an image, when some other processing might look better.. But I know that if you look at the set, as a set, its a mess..

And the fake T/S is an experiment. But I think your'e right. I should probably just ditch it

Tilt in the last one? Do you mean the T/S, or do you think my last picture is tilting?

I think you have some really nice work here. I don't really disagree with you on adjusting your style to what the picture calls for, so I'm good with the different looks.

I think you've got some really gorgeous stuff here -- the bride is just very good looking. But No. 1, for example, if the trees to the left were not in the picture (as they're in focus and stealing attention), you would have really nice separation of your subjects (B&G) from the beautiful background.

Can you do me a favor? Can you apply your processing style/technique in 15 and use it on 11 or 12 or 14? I think giving it that contrasty look will really give the guy an edgy look, and it will really bring out the colors in the bride. I'd love to see that. Maybe you can post a Before and After with both pics?
