p.2 #1 · Help me choose a comp

Looks like I forget to pipe in. I like the 17 shifted down best for composition. The near side cliffs add interest. I would like to see one at a much higher shutter speed to freeze the water. Actually, maybe a blend of high/low shutter speeds to capture both detail and movement.

Thanks Sadja. When I did this last year, I was using a filter and when shifted got a nasty vignette at this same scene. This year I did it sans filter.

I probably have a higher shutter, need to check. Maybe as much as 1/25 second. Not often I get a faster water request. I don't care for creamy water, but find 1/10 usually works, but it depends on water flow.

They were dumping water to the lower empoundments so it was really moving and sort of brown.

Edit. I found a 1./25 second shot and processed it for you. I also tried to preserve a better WB for this one.
