p.1 #1 · Shoot and Burn in Menlo Park (SF Bay Area) on September 15th
I have a distant friend that's getting married on September 15th who called me up to check if I knew anyone that could shoot her budget wedding. I used to shoot weddings but I have been a civilian for over a year now (wedding wise) so I'm out, still I educated her on the various market segments in the wedding industry and told her that given her budget ($800) she may be lucky to get a decent photographer to agree to do a shoot and burn if their schedule is open. I told her the usual hourly rates and I know all the potential upsides and downsides to a photographer that come from a shoot and burn so I don't want this thread to become about the business sense of S&B.
I'm simply checking if anyone in the Bay Area (Menlo Park area) would be interested in a S&B on September 15th. If you are just PM me your contact info and I'll pass it on to the bride.
