p.3 #1 · 7D firmware what the???

Well, I updated my 7D too. And, the results are on the card. I did enjoy the RAW editing feature but my eyes are hurting from looking at the small screen. Maybe I need to start using my laptop instead.

You need to insert your credit card with the update. A $3500 charge will appear on your account and your 7D will be transformed to a 5DMK3. As a part of the transformation process the 7D will be backed up in case you decide to downgrade.

My wife is reall unhappy since downloading the update, since the update she has caught the 7d twice trying to have camera sex with my mark IIn and is writing a complaint letter to canon as she is starting to feel neglected.

I think you should be on the one to lodge the complaint since it appears you are the one really being neglected here, or maybe just sell that 7D to remove the temptations from your wife.

Man, reading the majority of responses I thought I had stumbled upon XXReview!!! Come on folks....

After upgrading the firmware for my 7D I did experience one freeze. Removed the batteries (grip) for 10-20 seconds, no problems since then.
