I was hoping to hear from someone who has attended. Find it hard to believe that no one from here has. If no one from here has, that makes me leary of going...
Unfortunately, word got out that there would be too few ducks and domestic cats there, thus the poor attendance.

I think there is a lot to learn left if you "hate" the 100-400 just because of the push-pull system. BTW, did you ever use a full MF lens?.....I guess not.
Bitch, please..
Did your Dad design the 100-400L? I've never heard anyone who liked the system.
Full MF? You mean manual focus? Son, I was shooting Leica's before they had meters. I shoot Russian rangefinders for fun. Lightroom version what? I had a dark room in my basement. I have Dektol for blood and I piss Stop.
MF? I shot primes my friend.
Retrofocus? Do you even know what that means?
1700 posts an WA or MA winner ain't one. Mighty impressive post count you got there. Now let photographers talk and go bug someother forum.

Not going to address everything here, but quite a few of us rather like the push-pull zoom. Maybe it's not for everyone, but I think it works great in that particular lens.

Justin
I like the push pull also. Seems like another case of someone assuming their likes match others.
