Back in olden times there be an nFD 80-200L; that might just be in my kit, is it's IQ anywhere near the MDP's?
I've not shot my old gearz in awhile and before I go and sell it all, I might just keep some of the good stuff, leave it be or convert it, the 80-200L was a fav. But with a 70-200 f4L IS in hand for film and digital, it's just gathering dust in it's hardcase and that's just sad...

Thanks for any input

I don't know why this old thread was revived, but the FD 80-200 f4L is one of the sharpest zooms Canon has ever made. It's also, of course, manual focus and relatively heavy. It can still command a decent price (I've seen them from 250-450 on ebay). That places them out of the fun and cheap category for me, but if you have one, it's a great lens.
