yashica for early c/y lenses made in japan...midway early 80s kyocera bought yashica, kept yashica as a separated entity... c/y germany was zeiss oberkochen.
contax n/645 is all kyocera
ZE,ZF,ZK,ZM, ZS Zeiss Ikon (current rangefinder) is ALL Cosina
Contax G lenses were manufactured by Kyocera in a special "Zeiss factory enclave" with very stringent tolerances and specially trained assembly staff on the line. Exception was the Hologon, as mentioned, which was made in Germany.
Zeiss ZM lenses are made by Cosina/Voigtlaender, I think there are exceptions here as well, I think Ed Karaa knows which ones.
So, the 200/3.5 was Tele-Tessar, that seems correct and that is why I have a hard time remembering it... Thanks for the correction.

To further complicate things, some of the MM lenses were initially made in Germany... Such as my 25/2.8 & 85/1.4
Also, the Makro-Planar 100/2.8 only exists in the AE variation, so there are AEG and AEJ models. Saying that AE is always made in Germany and MM in Japan is just plain incorrect.

Aren't there only a few Hassy and Roli models? I didn't think they were "lines" per say...
There were the Rollei F-Distagon 16/2.8, Distagon 25/2.8, Distagon 35/1.4, Planar 50/1.8 (a Zeiss Design not made for the Contax brand), Planar 85/1.4. Some of these (the 50/1.8 at least) were also made under the Voigtländer brand. The Rollei Sonnar 85/2.8 wasn't the same as the Contax, but probably still a Zeiss design (since "Sonnar" is a Zeiss trademark)?

The Planar 85/2 was the ZM made in Germany, but that one has been discontinued now. The ZM Distagon 15/2.8 is the only remaining ZM made in Germany, I believe.
