p.1 #1 · Lexar CompactFlash Professional 1000x UDMA Rebates!
B&H Photo is offering rebates on Lexar CompactFlash and SDHC Memory Cards. If you are shooting with a Canon 5D Mark III, Lexar's Professional 1000x UDMA CompactFlash cards do make a big difference in buffer size and continuous shooting times.
Lexar 1000x CompactFlash cards will not improve buffer and shooting times when used on other cameras like the Canon 5D Mark II or Canon 7D, but there are rebates for the 400x UDMA version as well.

Makes you wonder what they're coming up next
Thanks for the link! Adding a 2nd 32GB card to my arsenal. Really want a 64GB, but I also want something faster, so I'll wait a bit with the bigger purchase.

I was also looking forward to 1000x 64GB cards for <$150 myself.

Great! now they have a sale after buying 2 twin packs a few weeks ago! That savings would have been nice.
Thanks for the link.

Unless I'm seeing something incorrectly, for some reason, the 2 pack of the 32 GB 400x CF cards is actually more expensive than 2 individual 32 GB 400x CF cards.

I bought my first 1GB "microdrive" for $500 when the Canon D30 was released. I still have it for collection.
Haha Fred, this brings back memories. I can remember the hitachi microdrives. It was when the Aussie dollar was about 68cts to 1 US$ instead of $1.04 to 1 US$ now.
The microdrives were about Aussie $800. So what I did was purchased one of those Sony Minidisc player for about $400. Inside it there was a 1gig white label hitachi microdrive. Then I replaced the minidisc with a smaller size memory card. It was a win for me and a win for my son.
